Every so often, we drive past the house pictured below and it always makes us smile.
It's in the Zakaki area of Limassol not too far from Orphanides supermarket and the church.
What's the most whackiest house you have seen or lived in?

Famagusta in images - a little bit of history.
I thought I would give you some interesting background on Cyprus and some of its' history today....
I came across the below website quite by accident and was very interested to see the contrasting images of Famagusta pre and post 1974.
Sadly, I never visited Cyprus until late in 1985 and did not have the chance to see the buzz that was Famagusta before the division.
So, for those of you in a similar position as myself - please feel free to browse the website:

Cyprus winter - in images
Thought I would share these photos with you. I've taken them on my Nokia mobile phone during the last 4 weeks between mid October to yesterday, 11 November.
We've visited Troodos Square, Platres and the Miramare Hotel in Limassol.
The 2 photos below are taken outside the Ferios Restaurant in Troodos Square on 10th October.

Next photos were taken in Platres on Oxi Day (28th October 2009). We came out of the restaurant at the start of a thunderstorm, which eventually reached us later in the evening.
These images below, were taken at the Miramare Hotel in Limassol tourist area only yesterday, 11th November.
What a difference a few days can make in Cyprus!
And this photo below - is winter on our sofa at home in Limassol.......
