No, I'm not referring to the ongoing animosity between the Republic of Cyprus and the Turkish Occupied areas!


For an animal lover living in Cyprus, we live in constant fear for the safety of our domestic pets. Dogs and cats alike are constantly being poisoned with Lanate or any other noxious substance that these cowardly and callous individuals can get their hands on.


We see the same reports everyday in the news.


Is anything being done? NO!

So, I beg of everyone reading this to think..... How can we stop this?

Too many "blind eyes" have been turned by the authorities.

Do we have to wait until a CHILD gets murdered by consuming poison before anyone does anything about it? It most certainly looks that way!!!!!

Sirius Dog Sanctuary needs your help - FAST.

Please help Sirius Dog Sanctuary based in Limassol.


They have been given notice to quit by end of June 2010 as the bulldozer will be arriving on 1st July. The bulldozer will flatten the shelter whether the dogs are there or not.

• Can you offer space?
• Is there anyone who has land with buildings that the dogs can be rehoused until a new location can be found?
